Never Forget the One | Pt.5

Throughout this series, I have challenged you to remember the one. The one who feels forgotten. The one who is searching for hope. The one God has placed in your life for a reason.

Now the question becomes, "What do I do next?"

Jesus did not simply tell us to care about people. He commissioned us to reach them.

Before He returned to Heaven, He gave His followers one final assignment: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel."

That commission still belongs to us today.

God could have chosen angels to proclaim the Good News, but He chose ordinary people instead. He chose people with stories. He chose people who have experienced His grace. He chose you.

Many believers hesitate because they think they are not qualified. They believe they do not know enough Scripture or have the right words. The truth is that people are not looking for perfection. They are looking for hope.

The most powerful tool you have is your testimony.

Tell people where your life was before Christ.

Tell them how you came to know Him.

Tell them what He has done in your life since.

God will use your story in ways you may never imagine.

As I read the story of Jesus and the woman at the well, I am reminded that effective witnessing begins with genuine care. Jesus saw someone others avoided. He listened before He spoke. He met her where she was. Then He pointed her to the living water only He could provide.

That is our model.

We listen.

We care.

We encourage.

We point people to Jesus.

Sometimes we make witnessing more complicated than it needs to be. We think we need to answer every question or win every debate. Jesus was never interested in winning arguments. He was interested in winning people.

Every conversation is an opportunity to build a bridge instead of creating a barrier.

This week, ask God to give you a burden for the people around you. Pray for open doors. Pay attention to the conversations He places in front of you. Then be willing to share your story and invite someone to take their next step toward Christ.

One invitation may change a life.

One conversation may change a family.

One decision may change someone's eternity.

Never forget the one, because someone once shared the hope of Jesus with you.
